Volunteer Grants 2024-25: Expressions of Interest Open
Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the 2024-2025 Volunteer Grants Program are now open for community organisations in Canning.
Volunteer Grants are an initiative of the Federal government and aim to help not-for-profit community organisations to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteer, encourage, support, and increase participation in volunteering and support children’s wellbeing through volunteering.
Please note that there have been considerable changes to the way the 2024-25 program will be run, and I encourage you to view the updated guidelines thoroughly.
Funding opportunities will now be split into two categories, and organisations are able to apply for one or both categories.
Eligible community groups can apply for grants between $1,000 and $5,000.
EOIs must be returned to Mr Hastie’s office by January 13, 2025. Please note that due to the limited window of time for applications to be made for this grant that late EOIs cannot be accepted.
EOIs will be assessed by an independent local advisory committee and based on their recommendations, selected organisations will be nominated to apply.
Further details can be found in the attached Grant Opportunity Guidelines.
EOIs can be submitted via email or dropped off to Mr Hastie’s office.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our office at [email protected] or on 9534 8044.
