STATEMENT ON SHADOW MINISTRY

In a competitive and dangerous world, Australia must be able to sustain itself, and its closest allies.

That's why we must have a robust industrial base and sovereign manufacturing capability in peace and war.

Right now, our industrial muscle is shrinking and wasting away inside Albanese’s Net Zero strait jacket.

Massive energy costs are killing off our heavy industry and advanced manufacturing capability.

Why? Because of Labor’s Net Zero obsession operating at the heart of the Australian economy.

That pushes Aussie jobs and factories overseas, and we grow weaker by the day.

Enough is enough. It’s time to put Australians first.

That’s why I am honoured to step up as Shadow Minister for Industry and Sovereign Capability, and fight for Aussie industry and advanced manufacturers.

Join with me as we pound away at Labor’s Net Zero taxes, and work to rebuild Aussie industry and advanced manufacturing.

The Aussie people are at their best when they are undertaking ambitious, tough, complex and demanding nation-building projects.
