New Classrooms at St Joseph's Waroona Officially Open

Andrew Hastie has officially opened new early learning classrooms and and admin facilities at St Joseph’s School, Waroona.

The upgrade includes new early learning areas for kindergarten and pre-primary students, a nature playground, a multipurpose room and a renovated administration building

The Coalition Government provided $437,045 for the $819,412 project through the Capital Grants Program, which provides funding for non-government schools to improve capital infrastructure.

It was great to visit St Joseph’s School to see the new facilities, meet teachers and students, and hear about the positive impact these upgrades will have on local education.

Schools are more than buildings, they are institutions whose community makes them special. We celebrate the role the community of Waroona has played in the life of the school, including the efforts of teachers, parents, grandparents, carers and supporters.

St Joseph’s School does an excellent job in offering greater choice of quality education for families in Waroona. The new facilities will further enhance St Joseph’s learning environment.

The Morrison Government is providing record funding for government schools, for Catholic schools and for Independent schools. We’re ensuring that every child can get a quality education, no matter where they go to school.

Funding for new and improved facilities such as these at St Joseph’s is part of that commitment to education.
