2021 Volunteer Grants Now Open
Expressions of Interest for the 2021 Volunteer Grants are now open for Canning organisations.
The Volunteer Grants Program is an initiative of the Commonwealth Government which makes available $132,450 to support local community organisations in the electorate of Canning.
Eligible community groups can apply for between $1,000 and $5,000. These grants can be used to buy small equipment for volunteers or for the reimbursement of volunteer fuel, transport or training costs.
There are many volunteer organisations throughout Canning that are doing important work to support our community. If you are interested in applying, please complete an EOI form and return to Mr Hastie's office by Thursday, 8 April. Please note that due to the limited window of time for applications to be made for this grant that late EOIs cannot be accepted. Before submitting an EOI, please ensure that both your organisation and nominated project meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the attached guidelines.
EOIs will be assessed by an independent local advisory committee and based on their recommendations, selected organisations will be nominated to apply.
EOI forms are available to download here or collect from Mr Hastie's office.
More information about the Volunteer Grants can be found at https://www.communitygrants.gov.au/grants/volunteer-grants-activity-2021-volunteer-grants.
