Petition: Stop The Sell Off of Australia's Defence Bases

The Albanese Government's decision to sell off 68 Defence bases and facilities across Australia is a national disgrace.

It's a short-sighted and reckless decision that risks permanently weakening our national security, Defence capability, and military heritage.

Bases such as Irwin Barracks in Perth, Victoria Barracks in Sydney and Melbourne, and HMAS Penguin, are not excess property or surplus assets.

They are the heart and soul of our ADF, deeply embedded in our military history and essential to present and future operations.

A full list of the Defence sites at risk is available here.

These bases don't belong to Anthony Albanese or Labor. They belong to the Australian people.

They were made to support the protection of our nation and our Defence personnel—not to be sold off like commercial real estate.

I'm asking you to stand with me for our national interest.

Your Federal Member for Canning

Mr Albanese, we are calling on you to stop the sell-off of our Defence land and bases.

Our ADF personnel deserve better, and so does our country.

It's time to back those who serve, and safeguard Australia's security.

Will you sign?
