The South Yunderup bridge needs replacing—and you know it.

You’ve told me loud and clear: the bridge is worn down, overloaded, and no longer safe. Years of wear and tear, combined with rising traffic, have pushed it past its limits.

South Yunderup is growing fast. More homes, more families, more vehicles—and still just one bridge in and out.

Right now, you and 6,500 others rely on that bridge every day. Soon, that number will hit 10,000.

South Yunderup locals rely on a deteriorating bridge—built in 1975—as the only way in and out of the suburb. 

It's too narrow, and it's too unsafe. 

It’s time for a replacement that includes a dedicated pedestrian and cycle-safe zone, and is built to handle future traffic demands.
