People call that sort of behaviour ‘gaslighting’.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, to gaslight is to ‘manipulate someone by psychological means into disbelieving their own sanity'.

The Prime Minister and his Energy and Climate Minister have shown a talent for gaslighting us on energy and climate policy.

The Labor Government is dismantling our cheap, efficient energy systems—fired by Australian coal and gas—and replacing them with expensive, inefficient Chinese made industrial-scale wind and solar farms.

They’re aiming to have 82% of our electricity powered by intermittent solar, wind, and hydro by 2030.

This is all being driven by their zealous commitment to Net Zero by 2050.

To get to their 2030 goal, Labor is taxing the Australian people to subsidise foreign investment into our power grid.

That’s why there is a hidden levy on your power bill.

That levy pays for the inefficient solar and wind power that’s being forced into our grid.

That’s why there’s a tax on heavy industry.

Because the less productive it becomes, the smaller the carbon footprint. Eventually, our critical industries will be pushed offshore.

That’s why farmers are now being forced to report their indirect emissions, tying up our primary producers with green tape, and increasing the costs of agricultural production.

That’s why your taxes are underwriting new wind and solar projects.

Because they don’t financially stack up without subsidies from the Australian people.

That’s why you're paying more for a ute or a 4WD.

Because Labor wants you to drive an electric vehicle and a tax makes it harder for working people to afford a diesel or petrol vehicle.

Given all of this, you must be wondering why your power bills keep going up.

After all, Labor keeps promising cheaper and greener power.

You’re doing your bit for the environment, but where's the upside?

Here’s the truth: the system is a scam.

The Net Zero economy favours big, foreign, commercial interests that employ platoons of sophisticated lobbyists to protect the legislated system of climate taxes, subsidies, and penalties that favours renewable energy.

They cloak their commercial interests in the language of climate and crisis and emergency.

The Labor Government is their enabler.

Anthony Albanese and Chris Bowen are quick to attack any dissenters.

They gaslight people into submission on climate policy.

You challenge the system, and they’ll call you a climate denier—as Chris Bowen did only four months ago.

But that’s why we're calling out their moral hypocrisy on climate and energy policy.

Australia only produces 1.1% of the world’s carbon emissions, yet we export 25.2 % of the world’s coal and 19.6% of the world’s liquified natural gas.

Guess where most of it goes?

To China and India—two of the world’s biggest and fastest growing emitters. We're fuelling their emissions with our coal and gas.

If Labor was serious about saving the planet, they’d stop exporting coal and gas immediately.

But the Prime Minister couldn’t even raise China’s massive emissions in his recent meeting with President Xi.

Back home, though, Labor demonises our natural abundance of coal and gas.

Labor is happy to sell it overseas but deny it to the Australian people.

That’s hypocrisy if I ever saw it.

What’s the consequence? Labor is crippling the Australian people with expensive power and sending Aussie jobs and industry overseas.

The poorer are getting poorer.

It’s shameful.

Labor is destroying our precious environment, farming land, and oceans with their industrial-scale solar and wind farms.

And you're footing the bill—through higher power prices and a falling standard of living.

It’s time we called out Labor’s hypocrisy on energy and climate.

It’s time that we put Australians first and unlock our energy potential.

Some might say we can’t. That the Australian people won’t come with us.

Well, we’ve never asked them. We’ve never told them about the Net Zero scam.

I’m in the business of finding a way to win.

And sometimes you must take the harder path.

This won’t be easy. But I need patriots to stand with me.

Together, we can restore our energy security and build a prosperous future for our kids, and the generations to come.
