It took me three attempts in Question Time this week to ask the Treasurer about a tax that would affect my constituents.

That's because Labor didn't want to hear it.

Under Labor's punitive tax plan, some retirees in Canning will lose up to 30% of their annual income! These are people who have worked hard to secure their financial independence in retirement; who don't want to be reliant on Centrelink.

Retirees have contacted me from every corner of Canning about this issue. I raised the example of Alan, who lives in Greenfields.
