CELEBRATE NATIONAL FLAG DAY

Federal Member for Canning, Andrew Hastie MP, invites Australians to celebrate National Flag Day today, marking the first time the Australian flag was flown in 1901.

“Our flag represents our common values, heritage, and shared history.

“Over 103,000 Australians have fought and died under this flag for our freedom and peace, and it’s the flag I now serve under as a Commonwealth Parliamentarian.

“Let’s come together to celebrate it,” Mr. Hastie said.

Mr Hastie is encouraging the community to celebrate by flying the Australian flag or displaying a complimentary “Together Under One Flag” bumper sticker, available from his office.
