LOCAL MP ENCOURAGES LOCALS TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON FUTURE OF MANDURAH FORESHORE

Federal Member for Canning Andrew Hastie MP is encouraging Mandurah residents to have their say on redevelopment plans for the Mandurah foreshore.

The City of Mandurah is seeking community feedback on the proposed Western Foreshore Leisure Precinct Plan and the Commercial Site Business Plan.

Mr Hastie said that community consultation undertaken by the City of Mandurah in 2018 highlighted a strong desire for upgraded commercial amenities and expanded leisure options.

“I encourage locals to have their say on the future of the Mandurah Foreshore,” Mr Hastie said.

“The foreshore is an important part of our community in providing a welcoming, family-friendly environment to appreciate and enjoy Mandurah’s natural beauty and waterways.

“By participating and sharing your feedback, you play a crucial role in shaping the decisions made for our community.”
