Community organisations in Canning are invited to submit expressions of interest for the Morrison Government's Powering Communities Program. 

The Program will fund up to 12 projects worth a total of $67,700 in Canning. Grants of between $5,000 and $12,000 will be available to eligible community organisations, with no co-contribution required. 

The grant will assist groups to lower their energy bills by installing solar panels or a battery, upgrading air conditioners, hot water systems or a refrigerator with more efficient models, replacing lighting with LEDs or conducting an energy audit. 

Expression of Interest forms are now available for download here or collected from Mr Hastie's office. EOIs must be submitted by 25th August 2021. Successful expressions of interest will be nominated to formally apply for funding, with applications closing on 20 September 2021.
