Saluting Their Service: Commemorative Grants Program

The Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program aims to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia's defence personnel in wars, conflicts and peace operations, and their families.

The Australian Government is inviting eligible organisations to apply for grant funding under the Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program.

The program is designed to provide funding for projects that promote an appreciation and understanding of the experiences of service and the roles that those who served have played. It also aims to preserve, and add to the sum knowledge of, access to information about Australia's wartime heritage.

There are two categories of grants available under the program:

1. Community Grants

Grants to a maximum of $10,000 for local, community-based projects and activities.

2. Major Grants

Grants between $10,001 and $150,000 are available tor major commemorative projects and activities that are significant from a national, territory and/or regional perspective.

Applications are now open and close at 9:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 6 February 2024.
