LABOR–GREENS ALLIANCE MUST BE RULED OUT

The Coalition calls on the Albanese Government to make a commitment to Australians that they will not do a dodgy deal with the Greens at the next Federal election.

The Greens’ outburst, calling for the cancellation of AUKUS, was irresponsible, reckless and ill-informed, and it does not reflect the sentiment of most Australians.

AUKUS is a bipartisan, nation building endeavour which will radically transform Australia’s ability to defend ourselves as we face the most dangerous strategic environment since the end of the Second World War.

It requires the support of government, industry, the private sector, education and most importantly, the Australian people.

The Greens extreme agenda is dangerous for Australia and the success of AUKUS.

As the founders of AUKUS, the Coalition remains steadfast in our commitment to this multigenerational endeavour and urges the Albanese Government to make clear to the Australian people that there will be no Labor-Greens alliance at the next election.
