STATEMENT ON HILLEL FULD’S VISA CANCELLATION

The Opposition requests that the Home Affairs Minister release a detailed statement of reasons explaining why Mr Hillel Fuld was denied a visa under Section 128 of the Migration Act 1958, and whether controversial political opinions are now considered a risk to the health, safety and good order of the Australian community.

If there is a new political precedent in the standard for issuing entry visas to Australia, the Australian people should be informed as soon as possible.
